This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") governs your use of ContentForge and all related services provided by ContentForge Inc ("Company," "we," "us," or "our"). This AUP is incorporated into and forms part of our Terms of Service.
By using ContentForge, you agree to comply with this AUP. Violations may result in suspension or termination of your account.
1. Purpose
ContentForge is designed to help marketing agencies create content, analyze SEO data, track rankings, and manage marketing efforts for their clients. This AUP ensures the Platform is used responsibly, legally, and in ways that do not harm others or degrade the service for all users.
2. General Conduct
You agree to:
- Use the Platform only for lawful purposes
- Comply with all applicable laws and regulations
- Respect the rights of others, including intellectual property rights
- Provide accurate information in your account and generated content
- Take responsibility for all activity under your account
3. Prohibited Content
You may NOT use ContentForge to create, store, transmit, or distribute content that:
3.1 Illegal Content
- Violates any local, state, national, or international law
- Promotes or facilitates illegal activities
- Contains or distributes child sexual abuse material (CSAM)
- Facilitates human trafficking or exploitation
3.2 Harmful or Abusive Content
- Promotes violence, terrorism, or harm to individuals or groups
- Contains threats, harassment, bullying, or intimidation
- Promotes self-harm or suicide
- Contains hate speech targeting race, ethnicity, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability, or other protected characteristics
3.3 Deceptive Content
- Intentionally spreads misinformation or disinformation
- Impersonates individuals, businesses, or organizations
- Creates fake reviews, testimonials, or endorsements
- Engages in fraud, phishing, or scams
- Manipulates or deceives users or search engines in harmful ways
3.4 Infringing Content
- Infringes copyrights, trademarks, patents, or other intellectual property
- Uses third-party content without proper authorization
- Violates the privacy or publicity rights of others
3.5 Adult or Explicit Content
- Contains pornography or sexually explicit material
- Depicts or promotes sexual exploitation
- Contains gratuitous violence or gore
3.6 Malicious Content
- Contains malware, viruses, or harmful code
- Facilitates hacking, unauthorized access, or cyberattacks
- Promotes or provides tools for malicious activities
4. Prohibited Activities
You may NOT:
4.1 System Abuse
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Platform, other accounts, or related systems
- Interfere with or disrupt the Platform's infrastructure or performance
- Circumvent security measures, rate limits, or usage restrictions
- Probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of the Platform without authorization
- Use automated tools, bots, or scripts except through approved APIs
4.2 Data Abuse
- Scrape, harvest, or collect data from the Platform except as permitted
- Extract or compile data for competing services
- Share, sell, or redistribute data obtained through the Platform in violation of our terms
- Access data belonging to other users without authorization
4.3 Service Abuse
- Share account credentials with unauthorized users
- Create multiple accounts to circumvent usage limits or bans
- Resell or redistribute Platform access without authorization
- Use the Platform in a way that degrades service for other users
- Exploit bugs or vulnerabilities instead of reporting them
4.4 Commercial Misuse
- Use the Platform to build a competing product or service
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or extract source code
- Remove or alter proprietary notices or labels
- Misrepresent your relationship with ContentForge
5. AI-Generated Content Guidelines
ContentForge includes AI-powered content generation features. When using these features, you agree to:
5.1 Responsible Use
- Review and verify all AI-generated content before publication
- Edit content to ensure accuracy, appropriateness, and compliance with laws
- Not rely solely on AI for factual claims without verification
- Understand that AI may produce errors, biases, or inaccuracies
5.2 Disclosure (Recommended)
- Consider disclosing AI involvement where legally required or ethically appropriate
- Follow applicable regulations regarding AI-generated content in your jurisdiction
- Comply with platform-specific rules when posting AI content (e.g., Google's guidelines)
5.3 Prohibited AI Uses
- Generating content to deceive or defraud
- Creating deepfakes or synthetic media to mislead
- Producing spam or low-quality content at scale to manipulate search rankings
- Generating content that violates any other provisions of this AUP
6. White-Label Content Responsibilities
If your subscription includes white-label features:
- You remain responsible for all content delivered to your clients
- White-labeling does not transfer our liability to you; you assume full responsibility
- You must ensure white-labeled content complies with applicable laws and this AUP
- Misrepresenting the origin of content in harmful or deceptive ways is prohibited
7. Third-Party Services
When using integrations with third-party services (e.g., GoHighLevel, Duda, Google Business Profile):
- You must comply with the third party's terms of service
- You are responsible for any actions taken through integrated services
- We are not responsible for third-party service availability or conduct
- Do not use integrations to violate third-party terms or applicable laws
8. Resource Usage
To ensure fair access for all users:
- Respect usage limits associated with your subscription tier
- Do not attempt to circumvent rate limits or quotas
- Excessive usage that impacts Platform performance may be throttled or restricted
- Contact us if you have legitimate needs exceeding your current limits
9. Reporting Violations
If you become aware of any violations of this AUP, please report them to:

Include:
- Description of the violation
- Relevant account information (if known)
- Supporting evidence (screenshots, URLs, etc.)
We take all reports seriously and will investigate promptly. Reports may be made anonymously.
10. Enforcement
10.1 Investigation
We reserve the right to investigate any suspected violations of this AUP. During an investigation, we may:
- Review account activity and content
- Temporarily suspend access pending investigation
- Request additional information from you
10.2 Consequences
Violations of this AUP may result in:
Minor/First Offense -
Warning and request to remedy the violation
Moderate/Repeated -
Temporary suspension of account or specific features
Severe/Egregious - Immediate and permanent account termination
Illegal Activity - Termination and referral to law enforcement
10.3 Appeals
If you believe enforcement action was taken in error, you may appeal by emailing Support@support.fmn-contentforge.com with:
- Your account information
- Explanation of why you believe the action was unwarranted
- Any supporting documentation
Appeals will be reviewed within 10 business days.
10.4 No Refunds for Violations
Accounts terminated for AUP violations are not eligible for refunds.
11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this AUP to reflect changes in our services, legal requirements, or industry practices. Changes will be:
- Posted on this page with an updated "Last Updated" date
- Communicated to users via email for material changes
Continued use of the Platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised AUP.
